Nancy Lynn Johnson

On Friday May 27, 2022 Nancy passed away peacefully at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. She moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Las Vegas in 1960 with her family. She graduated from Valley HS in 1973 and married the love of her life Jeffrey Johnson in 1977. Nancy worked in restaurant management for many years before starting her 10 year career in Human Resources at Merck Medco. She retired in 2021 from UNLV’s Planning and Construction Department as an Administrative Assistant II. Nancy really enjoyed traveling and cruising with her late husband Jeffrey. She liked cooking so much that she owned just about every kitchen gadget known to man. She loved kitties and was a great mommy to many over the years.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandmother Lydia, parents James and Vivian, husband Jeffrey, and sister Jeanette. Her sister Suzanne passed away just 9 days later on June 5, 2022. She is survived by her sisters Colleen(Anthony), Tammy(Keith), Chris(Dan), Jill(Lou), Janet(John), sister-in-law Lisa and brothers Tommy(Deana), Jim(Karen), John(Michelle), brother-in-law Alan, brother-in-law Jim, 41 nieces/nephews, 45 great-nieces/nephews and her kitties Baby Boy (Trouble) and Baby Girl (Lunar)

A Celebration of Life will be held at Alexis Park 375 E. Harmon Las Vegas, NV 89169, on July 3, 2022 at 3:00pm.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local animal rescue Hearts Alive Village (heartsalivevillage.org), NSPCA (nevadaspca.org) In honor of Nancy.
