Myrna Lee "Mona" Utley, 61, an office specialist II, of Henderson, passed away April 17, 2011. She was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Clendenin, W.Va., and was a 49-year resident of Nevada. Mona moved to Las Vegas in 1962 with her parents and attended Las Vegas High School. She went on to work in the hospitality industry; and eventually, the Clark County School District. Mona had many interests among which were traveling, dancing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Chandler; and mother, Goldie Chandler. She is survived by her husband, David Kent Utley; son, Jeffrey Regis Cichoski; daughter, Bobbie Jean Elizabeth Utley; daughter-in-law, Dawn Marie Cichoski; grandkids, Rebekah, Sarah, Adam, Emma and Elijah Cichoski; and sisters, Violet Foster and Joyce Thomas. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Green Valley Baptist Church, 270 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson.
