Myra Weinman, age 85, beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. Myra is most remembered by her smile and her friendliness to everyone around her.
Myra was born on November 26, 1938, in Fall River, MA to Charlotte and David Goldstein and lived most of her adult life in Tacoma, Washington before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada about 12 years ago. She and her late husband Bert worked hard building a successful real estate career before retiring. She loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She was very active in many social and game clubs in her Sun City community, but her favorite hobby was playing poker in one of the local casinos.
Myra was kind, thoughtful and full of life. She cherished her family and made friends wherever she went. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her and will be missed dearly!
Myra is predeceased by her parents, her son Steven and her husband of 65 years, Bert. She is survived by her daughter Debbie, daughter-in-law Debi, brother Paul (Patty), sister Judy, sister Rhina, grandchildren Kaya, Aunya, Henson (Cathy), Jan (Ed), niece Lisa (Greg), niece Shari, niece Laura (Mike), niece Jolene, nephew Alan (Charlene), nephew Eric (Julie), nephew David (Lori), nephew Shawn (Kiara) and many grand-nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Desert Vista Community Center located at 10360 Sun City Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 9:20 am where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Bert at Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
