Michael A. Skurow, 68, a retired gaming professional with Caesars Palace for 33-years, passed away on Sunday February 24, 2013. He was born March 25, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH and was a resident of Las Vegas for over 50 years. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Louise Skurow and uncle, Morris Schneider. He is survived by his two sons, Matthew of Burbank, CA and Andy (Al Pontillo) of Bridgeport, CT; brother, Ronald (Minh) of Mesquite, NV; aunt, Harlene “Butsy” (William) Cohen; three cousins, Becky Schneider-Snow of Las Vegas, Charles (Nancy) Schneider of Las Vegas, and Hildy (Richard) Grossman of Brookline, MA; nephew, Patrick Shane (Courtney Rye) Culhane of Las Vegas; two nieces, Sally Cohen or Los Angeles and Ellen (Michael) Cohen-Scott of Santa Fe, NM; grandniece, Eva Culhan of Las Vegas; and grandnephew, Damien Culhane of Las Vegas. A funeral service will be held at on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 10:00am at the King David Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Palm Valley View Cemetery. The family request that donations in his memory be sent to the Alzheimers Association. David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
