Mary Q. Moreno

Mary was born in Klondike Arizona, May 31, 1929, to Manuel & Gertude Quintana. She had 7 brothers and sisters. (Rachel, Joe & Arnold Quintana, Manuel, Shirley, Nick & Ruben Baker). She grew up during the depression and learned from an early age to cherish everything you have. Mary and Richard Moreno got married and had 3 children Isabel (Beebe), Sylvia (Ginny) (Dennis Bennett) and David (Guadalupe Martinez). She also raised James, Patty, Trina, and Rich (Eric Petersen). Mary & Richard lived and raised their children in Superior, Arizona. Mary was a homemaker for most of her children’s lives. She went to work at Motorola in Mesa in the late 60’s and worked her way up to quality control for computer chips. Mary and Richard moved to Las Vegas in 1978. Mary was again a homemaker and Richard went to work at the Holiday Casino. Mary made sure home was always a warm and loving place for family and friends. She went back to work when Richard was about to retire for the second time. Mary worked at Ethal M candy shops for 12 years. Retiring herself, she and Richard made a great home for all the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends to come and celebrate birthdays and holidays. Mary gave love wholeheartedly and was loved wholeheartedly. Mary lived to be 94 ½ years old.
