When we think of Marilyn, we will always remember a life well lived.   She touched our lives in a special way, and helped us to grow, to understand the meaning of empathy, civility, and genuine DECENCY! Marilyn filled my life with happiness and awesome memories that I will carry in my heart forever.  I am so thankful for her friendship.  She was someone who was always there for family & friends and truly cared about everyone.  

She was amazing and a great listener.  You could confide in, relate to, talk with and have a laugh with.  Marilyn was adventurous, creative, generous. imaginative, talented & so many other wonderful qualities.  She would light up a room with her personality.

Marilyn will be greatly missed.  She is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.  I feel so blessed to have known Marilyn.

Today I’m remembering Marilyn and all of the good times and laughs we shared
Trip to the Smith Center to see Hamilton 
Lunches at Olive Garden and the patio at Red Rock Cafe
Visits to Mr Habib (tailor) to get clothes altered
To the Fashion Show Mall to buy gifts for the nuns in Rome
To the Apple store for classes
To the Walking Store for shoes
I would call her every night to talk( we couldn’t sleep)
We loved Midsomer Murders, Foyle’s War and Grantchester on cable
She went with me and my grandchildren to paint Calico Cats at Pinott’s Palette
She got me hooked on ice cream cones from Albertsons 
I loved her heart and her spirit

I recall the wonderful times Marilyn and I spent in laughter and fun, reading and analyzing books, and discussing world conflicts. Mostly, I remember her zeal for developing ongoing friendships; her belief in humanity, and her caring, warm, outgoing personality. My favorite memory—and one she loved to tell— is of the time we decided to sample uncustomary, worldwide foods in various restaurants throughout Las Vegas. However, we ended up at a restaurant, if you could classify it as such, that promoted itself as an exquisite, international, landlocked north African wonder. It turned out to be a scary, little hole-in-the-wall. Marilyn loved to tell that story. This memory is so very special to me because a week or so before she died, while sitting peacefully entertaining friends and love ones, she had so much fun telling them about that day.

We have know Marilyn over 40 years. She and Michael talked us into moving here 30 years ago. So glad they did! We remained good friends having so much fun playing cards, cruising and just being together. After Michael died, Marilyn was so thankful to be living in Cottonwood Terrace where she had so many wonderful friends.
Marilyn was so strong in her battle with MS and cancer, but sadly her body could not fight anymore.  
Marilyn was such a loving friend and is missed by all.  She will live in our hearts forever.  Sam and Liz

Marilyn had the kindest heart and the courage of her convictions.  She was a true friend and world traveler.  My favorite memory is when she accompanied me to Pinott’s Palette to paint Calico Cats with my grand children. We had a wonderful afternoon with many laughs.  Every day was an adventure when Marilyn was involved. She encouraged us to stay involved in understanding world affairs and she was the rare individual who genuinely cared for others.

So sorry to hear of Marilyn's death.  I am thinking of my trip to Florence with Marilyn and Ruth.  It was a great train ride up, shopping was fun, pranzo was delicious,  all was well until Ruth got lost!  I am still smiling because as Marilyn and I were about to board the train back to Rome who shows up?  Here comes Ruth!
Rest In Peace Marilyn!  I will celebrate Mass for the Repose of your Soul.
