Mariann Mihalko Kaczmerczyk, 77, a woman of radiant beauty and an even more radiant heart, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 at Valley Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in Youngstown, OH and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Mariann was a resident of Las Vegas for more than 55 years. Mariann was a beacon of kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity extended far beyond material things as she gave freely of her time, her compassion and her love.
Mariann found deep fulfillment in her faith as a devoted Catholic at St. Anne Catholic Church. She volunteered her time serving as a leader of the local Catholic Daughters of the Americas, organizing church events, preparing meals for the priests and working in the parish administration. These roles were a perfect fit for Mariann’s nurturing spirit and her desire to serve others.
Mariann was the beloved wife of the late Phillip Brenner and the late Frank Kaczmerczyk, and daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mihalko. Mariann is survived by her dear sister Pauline M. Wildmon and by Misti Bosworth Iside (John), her much loved companion and confidante with whom she shared a
bond so strong it mirrored that of a mother and child. She is also survived by her extended family including JD Iside, Alyssa Iside, Marc Iside, her cherished nieces Angela Wildmon and Sonya W. Mendoza (Edison) and her nephew Jerrell Wildmon Jr. (Deirdre), as well as several great nieces and nephews. Mariann is also survived by her close friends and roommates Donald “Tom” Mouilso and Carlo Landi, and her precious dog Daisy.
A celebration of Mariann’s life will surely be filled with the love and gratitude of those she touched. Please join us in remembering and honoring the life of Mariann, who passed peacefully on May 3, 2024. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, on Wednesday,
October 9, 2024 at 11 am. Reception to follow at the church hall and inurnment ceremony at Palm Downtown Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas.
