Lois S Harris

Lois Sharon Conley Harris, age 83, died on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Zona, West Virginia and attended Walton High School. She graduated from West Virginia University, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and several honorary societies. She was an exuberant WVU sports fan and never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Mountaineer’s football and basketball teams. She was pre-deceased by her husband , Norman Lee Harris, her high school sweetheart and life-long love to whom she was married for 61 years; and by her parents, Ross W. and Gladys Conley of Spencer, West Virginia. Lois spent most of her life living in Winter Park, Florida where she was known as a loving mother and friend to so many.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Harris Higgins of Las Vegas, NV ; a son, Craig Conley Harris, and 5 grandchildren: Sam, Adam , Annie, Maxwell & Evie. She was known for gentleness, kindness, grace and remarkable courage. She will be intensely missed, especially by her daughter Jennifer and her five siblings Donald, Marge, Mary, Ruth and Velma who found her nothing short of a “perfect human being”.

A combined service for Norman and Lois will be planned for the spring of 2023 and will be held in Winter Park, Florida.
