Leticia Chacon De Ayala

She is survived by her husband Mario G. Ayala; her son Mario A. Ayala and wife Rosa E. Huape; her daughter Erika Griffith and husband Jason F. Griffith; and her daughter Sandra L. Ayala and husband Angel A. Andrade. Leticia is also survived by five immediate grandchildren, affectionately known as her 4 Reyes and her Reyna...Alejandro Ayala, Aidan J. Ayala, Aaron A. Andrade, Olivia E. Griffith and Jason F. Griffith, Jr.; as well as eight additional extended grandchildren, all of which love and miss her dearly. She is also survived by her four sisters: Maria Cabos, Margarita Chacon, Evangelina Chacon, Maria Lourdes Chacon, and two brothers: Heriberto Chacon and Javier Chacon; as well as an extensive list of nieces and nephews who all love her.

Leticia loved to travel and share annual traditions with her children and was always there to lend a helping hand. Never one to keep her thoughts to herself, Leticia’s quick wit always would bring laughter in every situation. While her presence at family gatherings and celebrations will forever be missed, the traditions she has instilled will forever live on in her memory.

Leticia was preceded in death by her parents Jose Z. Chacon and Evangelina Chacon, and her brother Jose N. Chacon.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m., at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery, 7600 Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123 with the funeral services to follow.
