Larry Nicholl, a 50 plus year resident of Las Vegas, NV, has passed away after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Born near Winterset, Iowa, Larry after high school enlisted in the United States Air Force and married Anatalia Reyes in 1960. After her passing, Larry remarried to Benilda Kim.
Larry completed a distinguished career in the USAF and retired in 1980. Because of his passion for entrepreneurship in 1982, he established the family owned business, Classic & Collectible Cars in Las Vegas, NV, which is now owned and operated by his son, Michael Nicholl. In keeping with the family first principle, sons, Greg and Jeff Nicholl, grandsons, Chris Griebling and Brett Nicholl have assisted Michael over the years in the operation of the well-known and highly respected classic and special interest vehicle dealership.
Larry enjoyed his family, the pursuit of a good buy of a classic car, breakfast with friends in the TOBY club and a good time at the Pai Gow table.
He is survived by present wife, Benilda; sister, Phyllis Varnau of Denver, CO; son, Greg and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann; son, Jeff and daughter-in-law, Nikki; son, Mark and daughter-in-law Alicia and son Michael and daughter-in-law, Michelle. Larry has nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome any donation to a Veterans' charity on his behalf.
A visitation for Larry will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, followed by a funeral service at 12 PM.
