Kristy was born in 1967, in Oxnard, CA, because (as she would always add) at the time there was no hospital in her beloved hometown of Camarillo, CA. She attended the local schools and while she completed a degree in early childhood development, what she always really wanted was to be a wife and mother. These two roles she lived marvelously.
Kristy met her husband, Stanton Ens, in Camarillo. What started as a friendship became a life-long team, a 32 year marriage of two people who loved each other deeply. Stan and Kristy lived life together joyously as the closest of friends. For both, time with each other was what made life whole.
Together, they had two children: Quaid Ens and Maison (Ens) Archer, married to Shane Archer, and she was expecting her first grandchild in May. Her family was the immediate and greatest benefactor of her amazing spirit. Life was a never ending flow of love, time together and celebrations big and small.
No recounting of Kristy’s life would be complete without telling of her passionate devotion to her Christian faith. The love of Jesus flowed through her, and all who met her saw Him in a woman filled with love. Kristy cared deeply about others, and loved to spend time with people. Her touch was an encouragement to all who entered her sphere. Even the newest acquaintance was quickly captured by her interest in knowing about them, adding to her ever growing circle of people to love.
Kristy lived this life abundantly, and touched so many. She will be missed greatly, but there is comfort knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, full of life beyond measure.
Please join the celebration of Kristy’s life on Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at 12 p.m. in the chapel at Canyon Ridge in Las Vegas.
