Kimberly Ann Vorbroker Berman, 52, of Las Vegas passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born Nov. 12, 1958, in Cincinnati, and was a 26-year resident of Las Vegas. Kim was a medical administrator. She was the founder of the University of Cincinnati Women's Soccer Club and took the team to varsity status. She was involved in youth soccer in Nevada, serving as an officer and director for many years. Kim is survived by her husband, of 26 years, Brian; son, Jonathon, age 23; daughter, Sara Jillian, age 20; son, Frazier, age 19; brothers, Robert (Diane) Vorbroker and Ronald (Clara) Vorbroker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Interment will follow the service in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Nevada Cancer Institute.
