Kathleen Rose Webb

Kathleen Rose Webb passed away peacefully on December 28, 2016 after a prolonged illness related to a stroke. Kathleen was born in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania on March 15 1932 to Joseph and Mary Mizia. She was raised in Bridgeville until, at age 23, she married Charles H. Short. Together they had 4 children, Charles, Diane, Linda and Thomas. After her husband’s death in 1968, Kathy remarried and brought her family to Las Vegas. Kathy was a longtime employee of Clark County in the marriage license bureau. She enjoyed performing wedding ceremonies and all of the joy it brought people. After her retirement and the death of her second husband, Kathy became involved in the Red Hatters and the Senior Tripsters. She truly loved traveling and meeting new people. Kathleen is survived by sister Adeleen Stasiowski; brother Joseph Mizia her children and their spouses: Charles (Theresa) Short, Diane Short (Dan Scott), Linda Short and Thomas Short (Deanna Barnett). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be held January 3, from 4pm to 7 pm at Palm Mortuary 1600 S. Jones, Funeral Service January 4, 10 am, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines. Graveside Service will follow at 12:00 noon at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery 7251 W Lone Mountain Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to keepmemoryalive.org
