Karla M. Bishop, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away January 1, 2011. She was born December 31, 1946, in Odgen, Utah, and resided in Nevada since 1994. She was a retired security data input analyst. Karla is survived by her husband, Marshall L. Bishop of Las Vegas; daughters, Heidi (Michael) Winston of Las Vegas, and Brooke B. (Mark) Gray of Mill Creek, Washington; granddaughter, Taylor Brooke Winston of Las Vegas; grandsons, Jake Marshall and Dylan Dean Gray, both of Mill Creek, Washington; sister, Ivana G. (Gary) Strong; and brother, Lawrence J. Torvund, both of Layton, Utah. Visitation will be 4:00pm - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, with services to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue. Donations may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
