Karen McEvoy, 57, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on January 18, 2021.
She was born on August 1, 1963 in San Francisco, California and was raised by Elsie and Joseph Grondona. She found her soulmate and partner for life at the age of 23, when she married Larry McEvoy.
Karen graduated from South San Francisco High School. She worked in administration for most of her career.
In a career shift, she took a position working for the San Mateo County School District in the payroll department, where she worked until her retirement.
Karen loved cooking good food and socializing. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She had an infectious smile and a caring and outgoing personality. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, Dewey and Cesar.
She is survived by her husband Larry McEvoy; sons Kevin and Brian McEvoy; sister Joanne Poverello; and brother Joe Grondona.
