Such a little brother. Always good memories with this kiddo. Favorite one is the night at the bowling alley. I had the highest score for more than half the game. But I kept drinking(the booze we all snuck in). Edwards like always called me an alcoholic and said look you're losing. You're a whole mess Dunn. I haven't drank too much since everything. Joey's life on earth was short, but full...his life with Jesus Christ is forever and unimaginably amazing and peaceful.  You did a beautiful job raising a son who positively impacted many hearts. I'm grateful to have been able to journey with you through both mourning and celebrating Joey's life.

What a kind, delightful, and courteous  young man you are. I’m so thankful for the opportunity of meeting you, Joey. I was always impressed by you. I recall our conversations about the future and where you wanted to be in ten years. A young man with a plan is a beautiful  thing. We’re allowed by God to cross paths with beautiful, pure souls who brighten our days.   We then have to embrace and cherish those moments. It is beyond my understanding, but i’m gracious to call you my friend.  Rest In Peace, Love, and Power, gentle soul. 

Our sweet Joey... what an amazingly kind, loving, smart precious soul.. Such a great loss to this world. You will truly be missed but I thank God for allowing  me the honor to have known you.  I will cherish the memories made... the dinner you made for us, the chats and laughs we shared. You were such an amazing  creation that your mom allowed us to experience.  I will do my best to be there for her when she needs me.  She did such amazing job with you and the world was lucky to have had you!  Rest in His Kingdom now for I know we will all reunite one day! I knew Joey when he was a little boy with those adorable chunky cheeks and the smile that just melted your heart.   I can see that he turned into an amazing young man.   Someone as special as Joey will never be forgotten.  He will remain in our hearts forever.  Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

SPC Edwards (little troll) I’m so grateful to have been a part of his life. It can’t be said enough that he was a hard worker and resilient as ever. He was always there to help any of us when needed. He was a little brother to me almost instantly and (I think it’s true for everyone that knew him) I saw so much in him and wanted the best for him. I thank him for always checking on me even when I wasn’t in the most pleasant of moods. I’ll hold every memory close to my heart. He is greatly loved and missed. 

I had the great pleasure of helping this young man Pursue his goals of being in the Military .  He was very soft spoken, and very respectful.   Once you got Him to open up , you were able to see a dry humor about him that would always make people laugh.  He will be more than missed , Not only for service to his country, but for the person that he was. 

Joey.... known to me as SPC Edwards was always optimistic and outgoing. Happy and honest. 

He never shied away from hard work or extra tasks. 

I’m proud to have known him and proud he is a family to us at FSC. 

My condolences and prayers to his family. A life taken way too soon.
