Joseph was born in Bayonne, New Jersey to his parents William and Edith Bilotta. After graduating from high school, he spent two years in the Marines, following which he attended Tulane University. On returning home to New Jersey, he met the love of his life, Myrna Pearl Dubovick. They were married shortly afterward in April of 1956, and resided in Milltown, New Jersey, where they had their three children, William, Brenda and Joseph. In 1965, as they were headed to California, they stopped in Las Vegas and decided to make it their home. Joseph was a Construction Tradesman. His experience and knowledge led to him eventually forming his own construction company which was successful for many years. Joe was a perfectionist and wanted a job done right. He was also fair and generous to all who worked for him.
Joseph was a devoted family man and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myrna Pearl; his brother William Bilotta of New Jersey; his children William and Leslie Bilotta of Las Vegas, Brenda Bilotta Trent of Las Vegas, and Joseph and Tammy Bilotta of Las Vegas; his grandchildren Lindsey, Joseph Henry, James, Terrah and her husband Michael, Cassandra, and JoJo; his great-grandchildren Brayden, Brynn, Olivia, Evie and Colton.
All of us will miss you greatly Poppy. You will remain in our hearts forever.
A private memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, February 22 at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, in Henderson.
