Major John D. Whitehouse, U.S Army Retired. John David Whitehouse born in West Bromwich, England died March 23, 2015 in Las Vegas NV at age 82 following a brief illness. His distinguished military career began as a member of the British Army Security Forces in Kenya, Africa. He met his wife Vicky in Japan, returning to Africa, then to England and on to the United States. John then joined the U.S. Army where he served with honor for 20 years. He went on to a second career as a school teacher in El Paso TX. Proceeded in death by his beloved wife Vicky Whitehouse and survived by his sons John and Michael Whitehouse and daughters Catherine Haggard (Terry), Elizabeth Harlacher, Mary Jane Whitehouse (Kelly) as well as his grandchildren Kliss Caalim, Troy Haggard, Nia McClure (Miles), Cassandra Whitehouse, Angela Freeman (Andrew), Erika and Natalie Harlacher and great-grandchildren Catalino and Castalia Caalim, Madelyn, Bella, Shiloh, and Eiley McClure.
