He was diagnosed with Duschenne’s Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 8 years and became a patient of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He participated in the MDA Camp every year, which he enjoyed. He was an avid XBOX gamer, jokester, making people laugh and being around family. Johnney lived with his father and his wife Carla Tripi for the last 7 years of his life.
He is survived by his sisters, Colleen, Stacey, Katie, and Siobhan (Niki). He is preceded in death by his brother Joshua. He loved his nieces, Julia, Chassy, Sarah, Samantha, and Arwen, and they loved him. He is also survived by the Tripi family, who loved him very much; his Nonna and Papa (Frank and Theresa); cousins Nicholas, Rachel, Gina and Sophia; along with his Aunt Stephanie, and Uncles Sam and Ciccio.
Other people that enhanced his life are: Preston and Rachelle; all of his MDA camp counselors; his fellow on-line gamers; Uncle Rick; cousin Jeremiah; and his grandmother May Nestor.
