John A Angelo

John Angelo, 84, passed away peacefully August 16, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born May 19, 1938 in Houston, TX. To Effie (Manning) & Arthontis Angelo. John grew up in Washington, D.C. Finished High School & went into the U.S. Navy from 1955-1958.

He worked for the Navy Department, Commerce Department & Department of Defense (Pentagon). He retired from Department of Defense in 1995 & retired to Las Vegas, NV with his wife Joanne (Dale) Angelo.

John married Joanne in February 1967 in Silver Spring, MD. They spent 55 years together.

He Enjoyed life collecting coins, playing cards, telling jokes & dining at fine restaurants. He had a wonderful attitude always joking & being a fun person to be with.

John is survived by his wife, Joanne, his brothers Jimmy Angelo (Yolanda), Jimmy Manning Jr. and his sister, Paula Dale Webb. He had many nieces & nephews.

Viewing will be from 12 noon to 4:00 PM on September 1, 2022 at Palm Mortuary on Cheyennne & Buffalo.

Military Service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery Friday, September 2, 2022 at 8:00 AM.

A visitation for John will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A burial and honors services will occur Friday, September 2, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 8:40 AM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
