Without you , Las Vegas will never be the same again.  We love you Tita,   we will miss your smile and gentle ways.  And  in our hearts you will remain the Tita who was there for us,  who was always ready to help, who truly cared.  Our family will miss the Tita  that made Las Vegas a must visit place .

I, along with Raniel and our kids, extend our sincerest condolences to Papa and the entire family. Mommee did not only have her kids with Papa. She has plenty of non blood related that she welcomed into their home. If you didn’t have a place to stay, or food to eat, she made you feel welcome. I am happy to be one of the lucky ones whom she treated like family. Her generosity and thoughtfulness are only a few of the things that I treasure the most. Even after they moved to Las Vegas, she would send messages and check on us. She knew of fires in Santa Clarita even before I did. “Are you guys okay? Are you close to the fire?” or simply “How are you?” 

Mommee, i miss you! Thank you for making us feel like a part of your family. We love you! Rest in paradise…

Tita Babit has always been a special aunt to me. I will always remember her kindness, easy going spirit, fun to be with, loving,  thoughtful,  generous, hospitable,  lovable aunt. Its just so easy to get along with her on anything. Fun to be with on trips and visits. I will miss her as I remember lots of fond memories with her.

Tita  Babit, I truly cherish all the times you had been very caring and understanding with me as well as our family, we were truly blessed.   You will be greatly missed and your memory will always be in my heart.  I love you.  Till we meet again.

My heart is still broken with the sudden passing of Tita Babit.. I will never forget the time I first visited LA and she graciously invited me to stay at their already ‘full house’ apartment. To add she took off from her busy work to accompany me to Disneyland and for sure she has  been there countless times . A very  generous person  who is so kind , loving and generous. She made me feel I was her real niece, though I am just an in law.. I will truly miss her . Rest in peace Tita Babit in Gods loving embrace.      Josie Tence

My dearest Tita Joan, 

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your selfless love and genuine kindness. You have always been incredibly kind to me and my family. I have witnessed what a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother you are to my beloved Uncle Bob, my cousins, and your grandkids. Your thoughtfulness and generosity extend to everyone, including me and my children. I am deeply humbled by how you open your heart to anyone in need, offering them a place to stay or any help they may require.

I am also immensely grateful for the care you provide to my papa while he visits your home. Please know that he feels eternally thankful for everything you have done for him.

I will surely miss your random messages where you affectionately call me “VIVO,” as well as the fun moments Nina and I share with our silly stand-up comedy routines that never fail to make you laugh! Your warm hugs and words of wisdom will always be cherished in my heart. I will also miss your calls and messages whenever you hear about earthquakes here in Japan, always checking in to make sure we are safe.

Over the last two years, I am so glad I had the chance to visit you and Tito. I love you with all my heart, Tita! I will always keep you in my prayers. Heaven has gained another beautiful soul!

2024 September - Friday Movie Day!
We watched John Wick 1 and 2.  Manang will always say yes, but she ends up sleeping through the movie. :)
I miss you.  I miss our Friday movie nights.

I have so many memories of my dear neighbor, Joan.  My fondest memory is when she took care of me when I was sick.  She was willing to sit with me for hours to chat and laugh about anything that came to mind.   

Whenever she made too much food for her and Bob, we were blessed with a portion as well.  Yum!  We have been neighbors for so many years that we watched all the grandchildren go from toddlers to teens and older.   

Memories of Joan will always be close to my my heart!  She was a wonderful neighbor and Mark and I feel blessed to have known her.

I’m so glad I got to spend time with Joan, Jean, and Titah Vicki a couple years ago. Joan, and Titah Vicki (and Jean) just wonderful examples of generous, loving, kind family that Joan and Bob were raised in and brought up. So blessed to have had those times.
I’m very sad for your losses and hope God to bring you peace after your grief.

The first time I met Mama Jereza was in 2010. I was the medical assistant at her doctor’s office. Her love had no boundaries. When I lost my mom, Mama Jereza and papa were there for my family and I in ways that I would never forget. They took us in. We became their family. She’d always show me there was still faith and hope, and that God was always with me. Showed me how to be strong. She always text me to say how much she and papa loved us.  She was my an angel and still is. She will be very missed. Her love was unconditional. I am so blessed to have known her. You will always be loved and never forgotten.  My friend Mama Jereza.
