Jia-Hsiu Chen-Hsieh born 1955 of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on June 17, 2023. She was born in Taiwan and married 陳瀛斌 Ying Pin Chen on November 26, 1978.
Family was the most important thing to Jia-Hsiu. She did everything for her children and always put the needs of her family first. In 1992, Jia-Hsiu bravely and sacrificially immigrated to the United States of America with only her three young children to pursue the American dream. She took on the roles of mother and father to provide and raise her children in a foreign country so they can have a brighter future. Her unwavering support and guidance were a solid foundation for her children's success and happiness. After more than ten years of long-distance relationship, Jia-Hsiu was finally reunited with her husband in Las Vegas, Nevada upon Ying Pin’s retirement in 2003.
Jia-Hsiu Chen-Hsieh worked in the casino industry for over 20 years. She enjoyed hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her passion was her grandchildren. Jia-Hsiu’s unconditional love brought out the warmest “阿嬤” (Ah Ma) when the grandchildren called upon her.
