Jesus Nunez Garcia, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away October 10, 2016 in his sleep with a smile on his face. He was born May 28, 1945 at home in "Mexican Hollywood" on O'Farrell Street in San Pedro. Jesse joined the Air Force January 1964 and served his country in Thailand and Vietnam, as well as many temporary duty assignments where he made some great friends. Jesse worked for Sparkletts for 30 years where he became a Sales Manager and made many life-long friends. He loved camping and vacationing outdoors, cooking for everyone, feeding stomachs and souls, and playing practical jokes. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Garcia and Altagracia Nunez; daughter, Janine; and brothers, Fermin and Joe. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane; daughter, Lisa; son, Jason; grandchildren, Grace, Noah, and Sophia Bigner, and Alicia and Jacob Soto; brothers, Mike and John; and sisters, Delia and Christina. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, October 21st at 2PM at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113.
