Jeffrey was born July 5, 1962, in Payson, Utah, and became a long-time resident of the Las Vegas valley as an adult having been raised in Payson.
He was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loves the Lord and the eternal family he is blessed with.
Jeffrey graduated from Payson High School and followed his father into the field of mining. He later became a plumber by trade joining the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 525. Throughout his life, he showed skills of creation in the fields of mining, cement work, roofing, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, refrigeration, wastewater sewage treatment, woodworking, and even built a house.
Jeffrey enjoyed trucks even before he could get a driver’s license. He loved driving around listening to music, especially in the mountains. He loved building things for his wife, Sandra, per her request. Jeffrey enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, giving service, and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, gained through marriage with Sandra, Carson S. Mleynek, brother, Roy Hansen, sister, Patricia A. (Watts) Drushal, sisters-in-law, Jesica I. Landreth and Laci L. Landreth, nephew, Robert T. Poulsen, step-sister, Tamara Palmer, father, Monte L. Hansen, mother & stepfather, Nina M. (Meacham) & Frank W. Palmer, father-in-law, Lloyd B. Landreth, paternal grandparents, Joseph L. & Roanna E. (Larsen) Hansen, and maternal grandparents, Heber A. & Della M. (Ahlstrom) Meacham.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Landreth) Hansen, sons from the first marriage, Zacrey M. Hansen (Jennifer), Joshua J. (Heather) Hansen, and Matthew D. Hansen, sons by marriage to Sandra, Michael T. (Anna) Mleynek, Dylan T. Mleynek, and Nathan M. Hansen, brother, Tony (Claudia), stepsisters, Teresa (Elmo) Bowers and Hollie Richmond, brothers-in-law, Douglas Landreth (Louie Fernandez) and Richard Drushal, sisters-in-law, Lisa (Steven) Smith, Deanna (Richard) Martin, Cynthia (Blake) Palmer, and Llexandra Landreth, mother-in-law, Shirley L. Landreth, granddaughter, McKenzie A. Hansen-Hancock, and many nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was laid to rest on August 26, 2021, at Palm Northwest Cemetery next to Carson in the Whispering Pines Lawn.
Pallbearers were Sandra Hansen, Michael Mleynek, Dylan Mleynek, Douglas Landreth, Louie Fernandez, and Jacob Curtis.
