Nevadan left us December 3rd to be with her heavenly father at
the age of 103.
Born in 1919 in Cleveland, OH she is survived by her son Peter
and daughters Marjorie and Susan; 4 grandchildren and 1
great-grandchild on the way.
Jane graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in fine
arts. Then working with Curtiss Wright Aircraft and obtaining a
degree in Aeronautical Engineering during WW2. After the war,
she joined the USO to support the troops in Germany and Japan.
Jane moved to Las Vegas in 1955 with her husband, Charles
Ham, she became active in politics and was elected State
Assemblyman in 1980. She was passionate about her church and
a committed volunteer for many civic organizations. Visitation to
remember Jane will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 9am
with Mass to follow from 10-11am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic
Church (131 N. 9th St. Las Vegas, NV 89101). Flowers deliveries
can be organized with St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church
