James Edward Gleed of Las Vegas, NV passed away at home November 7, 2011. Born April 9, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dale Elmer Gleed and Louise Lehman. Retired in 2005 as a truck driver, Owner Operator. Married Carolanne Brewis in May 1975. Preceded in death by parents, step father Percy Baugh and beloved daughter Suzan Merritt. Survived by wife, Carolanne Gleed, brothers Larry Gleed, CA; Ernest K. Gleed, MO.; Verlin Lee Gleed and sister Sheila Papadoupolis in Utah. Children by former marriage James B. Bennett, Las Vegas, NV, Stephanie Schumann, Corona, CA, Scott, Stacy and Stephen Bennett, Northern Utah, sixteen grandchildren, twelve greatchildren.
Private services for immediate family members and cremation at Palm Mortuary, Main St. Las Vegas, NV. Memorial service to be held April 2012. “You gave me 36 1/2 wonderful years as a husband, friend and confidant and I will miss you terribly”.
