Jacquelyn Guca

Jacquelyn Porter Guca of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2014; survived by her husband of 15 years, Barry.  Jacki was originally from Oak Lawn, Illinois and attended Oak Lawn High School.  She continued her education at the International Academy of Merchandising & Design.  Jacki held many successful positions in management where she flourished in the food and beverage industry. Jacki was a proud parent of their four furry children, two Golden Retrievers and their two rescue cats.  She loved all animals and volunteered at several animal charities. Jacki will be remembered for her love of family and friends and having the most amazing and outgoing personality.  She enjoyed a passion for life which included entertaining and hosting events.  Jacki welcomed all new people into her life with a big smile and open arms. Jacki is survived by her loving husband Barry; her mother Jaqueline Porter; her brother Dominic Porter; her sister Michele Porter Dillon; and nephews Alec, Ross, Chase, and Nicholas - as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family is kindly requesting for donations to be made in memory of Jacquelyn Porter Guca to the Best Friends Animal Society (BestFriends.org) in Kanab, Utah. Memorial services will be held at Saint Thomas More Church on April 23, 2014 at 12:00pm.  She will be laid to rest at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery at 1:15pm.
