Thank you for the beautiful music. I send my condolence and a lot of love to Mr. Hiroshi's family and friends.

His depth of feeing in his performance was heartbreaking.  A sad loss to Japan and the world.   The acclaim to his work was so understated and so late.   An icon of Jazz who I will personally miss.  

I came across his music recently and as a musician myself I could really hear the soul in his playing. I was heartbroken to find out about his passing.  I hope his family has been able to cope well and his legacy will continue to live on. 

Such an incredible musician. R.I.P. to a legend.

This man made amazing music. He introduced me to foreign and Japanese jazz. Bless him and his family. If anyone who knew him reads this, know that this man had the music taste of an angel. I bet he was an amazing man. I actually just finished my presentation about Asian American Heritage. I chose him because he had such an impact on me with his music.
