Hirachand Daulat, beloved husband, father, brother, grand-father and great-grandfather, and the patriarch of the Daulat family, was born in Hubli, India, on April 14, 1932 and passed away of heart failure at age of 89 on May 11th, 2021 in Las Vegas.
Hira graduated at the top of his class from Pune Engineering College as a mechanical engineer, and had a successful career with petroleum companies in Mumbai. At age 44, he immigrated to Dallas, Texas in 1976 and moved to Las Vegas in 1988. He continued to lead a successful and enriched life in Vegas where he set up and managed operations for Community Family Doctors for 20 years.
Hira Bha, as he was known to most of his family and friends, had a unique zest for life and was loved for his humor, warmth and intelligence. He was an accomplished athlete, a talented musician, a Sudoku & Poker expert and loved to socialize. He has been a well-known and highly respected member of the Indian-American community. As a former President of Friends of India-Las Vegas, Hira continued to stay engaged in various community affairs.
Hira was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, dear Shaila, who passed away nine years ago. He leaves behind three sons, a daughter, four younger brothers, two younger sisters, and a large extended family, who will all miss him tremendously. They will continue to follow his legacy of persistence and drive with energy, dignity and humor. Hira stayed fiercely independent until the end. His memory will stay in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held on May 18th, 2021 between 8-9:30 am at Dignity Memorial – Palm Downtown Mortuary on 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
