Glenn was born July 15th, 1976 to C. Jean and Larry Moses in Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent his early days in Las Vegas and Yerington, Nevada, and moved to Logandale, Nevada for his high school years at Moapa Valley High School where he found his love of theatre, art, guitar, and played baseball.
Glenn attended the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated with a BA in Political Science, and was an intern of the Nevada 70th Legislature session. He went on to pursue his secondary education teaching certificate in social studies.
During his time in Reno, he was very involved in the Reno Punk music scene, and played in bands: American’t Citizen, Scabies, and Redrum, and wrote a “zine” based on punk music and culture. He participated in Food Not Bombs, an organization dedicated to feeding the homeless vegan meals in the park on Sundays.
Glenn was married to his high school sweetheart, Rachel (Rae) Price in 1999. After receiving his teaching certificate, Glenn landed his first teaching job in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he taught US Government and Criminal Justice for one year where he was adored by many students.
Glenn and his wife relocated to Las Vegas in 2002, and took a job as a teacher at Odyssey Charter School. He went back to school for a Master’s in education, and was promoted to assistant principal.
For a brief period of time Glenn and his family relocated to the Denver area where he was an administrator, but ultimately decided to move back home to Las Vegas where he was offered a job back at Odyssey as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation which allowed him to share his passion and dedication to children.
His love of children extended to his family as an adoring father. He was passionate and patient and a humble, kind, gentle person to all who knew him.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Rae, children: Owen (19), Audra (17), and Elijah (11), parents, Larry and Jean, brothers Scott (Adrianne) and Gregg (Rachel), two nephews, two nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services to celebrate the wonderful person Glenn was will be held at the Palm Mortuary at Jones and the 215 in Las Vegas at noon on June 5th. All are welcome to attend.
