Glen D. Hickey, Sr., age 71, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2015. Born June 15, 1944 in Las Vegas, he was a lifelong Las Vegas resident. Mr. Hickey was a retired owner and general contractor of Hickey Development and Delta Electric. A true outdoorsman, Mr. Hickey enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of The Shriners, Elks, Masons and The Las Vegas Jeep Club. Most of all, Glen enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, David “Butch” Hickey. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda (nee Orton), sons Glen (Mary) Hickey, Jr. and Chris (Shaun) Hickey; grandchildren Eric, Megan and Kirsten Hickey; sisters Linda Thompson and Shirley Ebarb and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2015 from 1-2pm, with services to follow, all at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Interment, Palm Northwest Cemetery.
