Gertrude Missbrenner Haszlauer

Gertrude Missbrenner Haszlauer (Trudy), 65, of Las Vegas, NV, entered the gates of Heaven on December 5, 2023, after an 8 month fight with cancer. She was surrounded by her daughter, loving husband of 34 years and close friends. Trudy was born on October 24,1958 in Hollywood, CA. She was the oldest child of Adam and Anna Missbrenner. She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1981 with a BSBA in Human Resources and held advanced certificates in Labor Relations and Negotiations from Penn State University and The University of Notre Dame. She worked at Nevada Energy for over 30 years and loved her job, colleagues, and the workers she supported. Trudy had a passion for labor relations, working with youth in education and was involved in many outside activities and Toy Drives. Trudy was an avid fan of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and she enjoyed cheering on her husband and brother as they competed in Stock and Super Stock events around the country. Her infectious smile, kindness, compassion, and bubbly personality made Trudy loved by all who came across her path.

Trudy is survived by her husband Paul, daughter, Anelisa (Angela), granddaughter, Samantha, brother Dan (Lillie) Missbrenner and her mother Anna Missbrenner.
