Frank Nielsen, 64 passed away November 22, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. He had over 30 years of real estate experience; Mr. Nielsen has an extensive background in the real estate industry. His expertise is in all phases of real estate development, from purchasing of raw land to finished products; marketing, financing, lender and loan negotiations, planning and project management and construction of single family and multifamily homes, commercial, retail, industrial, hotels and office buildings. As President of Montecito Communities-Nv, LLC, he is also responsible for all phases of real estate and land development including entitlements, proformas, feasibility analysis, land acquisition, design, financing, permitting, construction, lease-up and property management. Mr. Nielsen has partnered with Mr. Schulman for over 25 years, and has served as general partner and manager in numerous commercial and residential development projects, including Citibank Park and Montecito Town Center in Las Vegas. He was instrumental in developing the Alexis Park Hotel, the first major non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas. Mr. Nielsen holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and studied Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Michigan. Mr. Nielsen has been a licensed real estate broker in the state of Nevada for over 14 years and currently owns and operates Gateway Realty, LLC. He is survived by his wonderful wife Kamela , son; Amir Algaar (Marsha), grandson; Khalil Algaar, mother; Osa Holder, brother Toni Nelson and sister Linda Nielsen. Visitation will be Monday November 29, 2010 at 3pm and Funeral Service at 4pm, both held at Palm Mortuary 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave Las Vegas, Nevada.
