“Anything is possible.” That is what Frank Norris Newman believed about life. He was a creative man, a perpetual inventor, who seemed to be able to find a solution for anything challenging him. He had faith in his ability to find those solutions. Frank thoroughly enjoyed understanding how things worked. He possessed an inquisitive, confident, and rational nature matched with a versatile and agile mind. Frank was a person who believed that he could achieve whatever he set out to do. Frank was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Frank was raised with his brother Bob and they shared a good solid background filled with good values in their family life. A born inventor, Frank displayed his inginuitety even as a child. Frank was definitely in his element in his work environment. Frank was always good at getting a project started and then, completing it just as it should be done. Frank's “never say die” attitude and his ability to face any challenge no matter how difficult it might be were tremendous assets that were innate in Frank. He carried this great tenacity with him into the military Frank served his country in the Army in the Infantry, saw action in WW II, and achieved the rank of PFC while serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary; children Glenna and Reid; grandchildren Jennifer, Sarah, and Jeff, Kat, and Lisa; great grandchildren Liam, Mia, Hailey, Andy, and Emily. Services were held at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his lifetime, nothing appeared impossible to Frank. He met the words “it can’t be done” with the enthusiastic response of a “wanna bet?!" attitude. Frank was able to recognize the possibilities a new idea held, even when those around him could not. For Frank, the traditional way of doing things fell short of his expectations, especially if there were original and untested methods for handling a challenge. For Frank Norris Newman, the fun of living his life could be found in the challenge.
