Floyd Miller, age 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. Floyd was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Viola and Floyd Miller. His infectious, fun-loving personality and positive outlook on life made him a friend to everyone he met. He was a true artist of life, and his incredible experiences and memories were like the colors he painted onto the canvas of the world. As a world traveler and dedicated service member of the United States Air Force, Floyd was known for his love of music, adventure and his ability to make the most out of every moment. He was also a master barbecuer, and his food brought people together and created lasting memories.
Floyd's love, kindness, and understanding will be sorely missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created. His sunshine and happiness will continue to warm our hearts and souls for generations to come.
Floyd is preceded in death by his beloved wife Modesta and son-in-law Eric, and they are now reunited in eternal peace. He is survived by his daughters Val (Jon) Muirhead and Monique Rayford; his grandchildren Xia, Jordynn, and Karlos Rayford; his sister Ramona, and a host of family and friends who loved and adored him.
Floyd's services will be private.
