Felix Silla was born in Roccacasale, Italy on January 11, 1937. He was the 3rd born and the youngest of Felice Silla and Gaetana Silla.
In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting and building Lego models. He was Italian so of course he loved his food, spaghetti, pizza, and homemade lasagna on Christmas is always the tradition. He loved going to meet with his cronies for lunch at New York Pizza & Pasta Restaurant. He mostly enjoyed traveling and going to conventions to see his fans, it was a huge part of him but mostly he was happy and loved by his family.
Felix Silla was someone who had no boundaries between his stage show and his regular life, but no matter his size, his larger-than-life persona and tenacious personality will not be forgotten. Felix played so many great roles in the entertainment industry, his best-known role was Cousin Itt of The Addams Family. Although his role and contribution to entertainment was in some ways substantial, he impacted every person he met, even strangers (who didn’t stay strangers very long because he was just so damn friendly). The love Felix spread on this Earth continues to grow and will live on, and that is the ultimate measure of any human being.
He was loved and known by everyone, he was a gentle, loving, and humble man that has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and he will be extremely missed. A man who never cared much about himself and who even in his final days said to his loved ones, just take care of Sue (his wife) when I’m gone.
Felix Silla was preceded in death by his parents, Felice and Gaetana Silla, and his son, Michael Silla.
Felix Silla is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Sue Silla, his brother Michael Silla and sister Vilma Scenna. He was a proud father to Bonnie Silla, Diana Bychek (Damion). His grandchildren Rachel Harris (Kierra), Lasey Harris, Hailey Wilson, Casey Bychek, Mia Bychek and great grandchildren Jamie Harris and Saige Wilson, and numerous other family members and friends.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Palm for their care and compassion and a special thank you to all his friends and fans.
