Elaine was a very close friend of mine.
We were friends since seventh grade in Kansas City
She was always so positive  and upbeat and I know she really enjoyed life

I will miss Elaine very much


Elaine was my mother.  I grew up imagining what she would be like, and when God finally allowed us to meet, I was not disappointed.  Elaine was a gentle soul who hurt for people, loved people, rejoiced with people.  She loved the Lord, and she felt compassion for and joy in His creation.  She passed to me a love for music and a love for laughter.  When she gave me to the parents who raised me, she taught me what a hero looks like.  What it means to love someone else more than you love yourself.  That courageous act is a reflection of Christ's love in her life.  I know she was so very disappointed that her body let her down in so many ways, and I rejoice now in the mental image of her running and jumping without pain or weakness in her new body.  I can just imagine her hugging Jesus and praising God face to face.  Elaine, our time together on earth was short, but we will enjoy eternity finally laughing together and catching up on everything we both missed.  Love, Angie

Elaine and I met and started our journey over fifteen years ago. She was beautiful, with impeccable hair and makeup. I was quite taken by her professionalism, fun manner and knowledge.
Everyone should remember that Elaine suffered a devastating stroke in March, 2013, followed by years of recovery and disability in a wheelchair. Elaine never stopped trying to improve and attempt to use a walker. We were able to move to Del Webb Sun City Summerlin in March of 2017. Elaine loved the extensive greens, birds and bunnies that filled this three golf course community. Every time we would drive in from dozens of medical appointments she would exclaim how beautiful the nearby mountain ranges were as we drew close.  On October 25, 2020 I was at her side for her peaceful final breath.
Elaine was my wonderful partner and companion in life. She was a great woman to family and friends. Always there to help and give support and spend endless hours to see through her assistance. She was immensely found of all flora and fauna, and loved all “critters.” Every morning that I would jog or walk, she would meet my return with “see any critters” and I would tell her tales of birds, geese, bunnies, hawks and that occasional coyote. 
Elaine was poised with style and grace. Her signature was poetic. She always knew the classical music playing, and all the words from every show tune. Elaine was dedicated to family and always followed the lives of all her nieces and nephews. She worked endless weekend for many years to share the lives of her stepchildren of her beloved husband Richard Evans. She would always share her pride in Tony and the fine man he had become. She also found great joy from her meeting with Angie and how she was a bright and loving young woman. 
Elaine shared her unlimited humor with me. She was romantic, and the lady and love of my life. I miss you my sweet companion. She is everywhere I walk and imbedded in every thought of how she enriched my life. Good bye my  beloved.


Elaine was the sweetest, best friend anyone could have had. Her humor, intelligence, passion, dignity, and love added so much to my life, and I will always love her and miss her.

Elaine, my Dad's little Sister, my sweet and vibrant, creative and loving Aunt.  Now I know she is in the loving presence of our Heavenly Father, and I know that her vibrance outshines any she could have radiated here in this World of limitations.  Hugs and prayers for all who knew and loved her, too.
