Edward "Eddie" Phillips

Edward Earl Phillips, lovingly known as Eddie, passed away on Sunday June 18, 2023, just 2 days short of his 79th birthday, surrounded by his wife and kids at his home in Las Vegas, NV. Eddie was born in Los Angeles on June 21,1944, but lived most of his life in Las Vegas, NV where he was a teacher and coach as well as played semi-pro football for the Las Vegas Casinos, after playing college football in Utah. Eddie had a passion for hunting, the Fighting Irish and the Broncos, for which he was on the taxi Squad. He loved spending time with his family, especially at the family cabin in Utah. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Phillips to whom he was married for 47 years. And will be greatly missed by his daughter Krystal Ann Howell and his son Erik Edward Phillips. Papa Eddie also leaves behind 9 grandchildren who adored him.

A memorial service for Edward will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
