Earnest was Preceded in death by His Parents Samuel Patton and Mary Jane Humphries; siblings Samella Richardson, Sister Robert Patton, Brother, Beatrice Weathersby, Sister, Edith Mae Caldwell, Sister and Carrie Patton -, Sister. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 37 years LaVerne Patton of Las Vegas; Brothers Samuel (Marian) Patton Jr. of Las Vegas and Marion (Gloria) Patton of Gary Indiana; children Vanzetta Mouton of Ridgley, Maryland, Tonja C (Rodney) Patton of Las Vegas, Chris Larkin of New York, Dennis Deyampert of Las Vegas, Earnest Jr. (Mechelle) Patton of Las Vegas, 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 1-3pm at Palm Mortuary- Downtown, 1325 N Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Funeral Services will be Held Monday, December 29 at 11am, Second Baptist Church 500 Madison Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89106, with Burial to follow at Palm Mortuary - Downtown.
