Douglas Hugh Klise died October 6, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of seventy-seven years. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 5, 1945. He joined the US Navy Marines during the Vietnam war, from which he was honorably discharged. Upon his return stateside, he settled into the greater San Francisco bay area, where he earned a degree in business from San Francisco State University. He leaves behind his devoted wife of thirty-four years, Elvira "Elvie" Klise. He is the father of four children, and the grandfather of six. He is the second eldest of his four siblings.
He had an undeniable charisma, and brought a verve for life to every interaction he had, but still managed to wear his heart on his sleeve.
He will be missed, and not soon forgotten.
A visitation for Douglas will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
