Dost Muhammad Wattoo

Dost M. Wattoo, MD, FACC, age 78, passed away on April 26th, 2023. He was the loving husband of over 40 years to Roseann (deceased), father to Jamiel, Neil, Kara and Joseph (Melissa) and grandfather to Ava Marie, Madelyn Rose and Nicholas Joseph. Dost was originally from Pakistan and graduated from Nishtar Medical College in 1968. He completed his Cardiology fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic and founded Heart Center of Nevada in 1978. He was board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He practiced medicine in Las Vegas for 45 years and was a pillar in the medical community. Dost proudly served as the Chief of Staff at Valley Hospital for 16 years and dedicated his life to helping others. He was known to his colleagues, residents, nurses and patients as a compassionate, caring physician and friend. In his free time, Dost could be found on the golf course with friends, or at home with his family. Visitation will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, May 4th from 11 am- 1 pm, with funeral service to follow. This will be open to the public. Burial and a celebration of life will be private. Please contact the family for further details.
