DOROTHY TSITOURAS Dorothy "Dotty" Tsitouras, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away April 10, 2012. She was born Oct. 26, 1922, to Dennis and Katherine O'Mahony in Plainfield, NJ. She is survived by her husband, of 64 years, John; daughter, Buff; son, J. C. and his wife, Nancy. Her son, Christopher, preceded her in death. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1959. Dotty volunteered at Sunrise Hospital, PBS Channel 10, where she served on the Board of Directors, and at the new LV Convention Center. Friendships from these activities endured throughout her life.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Service will be 12 noon, Thursday, April 19, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Serenity Hospice.
