Born in New Britain, CT on October 24, 1933, to the late Henry and Antoniette (Bellman) Wesche. She and Reggie resided in Meriden, CT until they retired to Vermont, a place they truly loved. To be closer to their son and grandchildren, they embarked on an adventure that took them to Alabama, Tennessee, and finally Las Vegas.
Dorothy loved the beach and found solace in the ocean's rhythm, mesmerized by the waves as they crashed against the shore. She enjoyed the quiet pastime of knitting and the excitement of the slot machines and bingo at local casinos. Most importantly, she treasured the precious moments and milestones spent with her family.
She is survived by her son James Frugale of Naples, FL, daughter in law Karen Frugale of Cheshire, CT, and her son Philip Pare and his wife Kim of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren Nicholas, Christina, and Joseph Frugale, Joshua and Heather Cobb, and Zachary and Jacob Pare; sister-in-law Susan Wehner and her husband Robert; and nieces Sandra Johnson and Susan Picard.
She is predeceased by her brother Clifford Meyers, sister Eleanore Diters, daughter Diane Cobb, and niece Sharon Meyers.
A memorial service will be held next spring for her and Reggie back in CT.
