Donna Jean Ruetten of North Las Vegas passed away on January 10, 2021. She was born in Helena, Montana on May 16, 1997. Donna attended two years of college at Montana State University. She was married to Warren Joseph Ruetten on June 13, 1959. Donna’s career consisted of being a secretary and then later becoming a Bureau Chief for the Department of Revenue at the Montana State Liquor Division in Helena, Montana.
After retirement, Donna and her husband moved to Glendale, Arizona. She was an active member in the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Glendale. When her husband passed, she moved to North Las Vegas, Nevada to live with her daughter and granddaughter. She had a passion for Jesus, family, friends, animals, reading and traveling.
She is survived by her two children; Cynthia Blake and Ronald Ruetten. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Joel Blake, Sara Blake, Kayla Myers and Nathan Ruetten. She also has two great grandsons whose mother is Kayla Myers. Donna’s siblings Mac Gregor, Glenn Gregor and Marjorie Thronson preceded her in death. She has one remaining sister; Louise Redfield.
Donna was brilliant, caring, loving and dearly beloved by many. She will be greatly missed. No formal memorial service will be had because of traveling restrictions and the virus.
Someday we will be reunited with Jesus in Heaven and that gives us peace and joy!
