Dominick Joseph Virga

Dominick J. Virga, known to family & friends as ‘Nick’, passed away at the age of 97 in Las Vegas, NV on Monday – December 20, 2021 surrounded by his beloved daughter, Laura Tuttle & his loving son Dom. Nick was also in the presence of his grandchildren, Jonathan & Janine Virga, his great granddaughter, Jade Virga along with his daughter-in-law’s Clara Virga & Rainey White. Nick was later joined by his second grandson, Ken Tuttle, who expressed a heartfelt good bye.

Nick was happily married to Justine Agnello for almost 60 years. Justine died in October of 2004. Before residing in Las Vegas, Nick & Justine lived in Staten Island, New York & Clifton, New Jersey. Nick’s career started as a tool & die worker in Manhattan. With a keen eye for precision & color Nick was ask to join the work force of Win Check Industries, later becoming Revere Copper & Brass. Matching colors in the siding business was Nick’s forte. After a successful run at Win Check Industries, Nick had the opportunity to start his own business in Rochester, N.Y. – Jet Building Supply, a wholesale exterior building products company. His success in business, allow Nick to retire at the young age of 54. He never looked back!

Nick, now retired, moved from Rochester, N.Y. to a young Las Vegas town in 1978. With his building products background he built his own home in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas. His beloved daughter, Laura had been a resident of Las Vegas for 4 years. In late 1979 he convinced his son & daughter-in-law to move to Las Vegas, so the family could be together again.

Nick was an extremely successful business man, a devoted husband and a fantastic father that embraced the family concept of love. Respected in business, loved by family and friends, he too was loved and will be missed.

A visitation for Dominick will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
