David L. Morrison

David L. Morrison passed away Monday, June 22, just nine days shy of his 46th birthday. David was born and raised in Las Vegas, graduated from Western High School, took various college courses, and was employed at the Goldcoast Casino as a shift manager, where he worked for more than 20 years.

David is predeceased in death by his beloved mother, Carolyn. David is survived by his father Gary (Gwen), sister Diana (Sean), nephews Blaine and Caden, and too many aunts, uncles and cousins to name, but who all loved him deeply. David also leaves behind his adored girlfriend Lucy, his extended family at the Goldcoast, and his long-time billiards buddies.

David was a selfless person, full of energy and life. He could make you laugh with his humor, and cry with his sincerity. Shortly before his death, David spent a great deal of time with his immediate and extended family and while God took him from us far too soon, we are comforted in knowing that those visits made his life complete. He will be profoundly missed by hundreds of people in our community and elsewhere.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 27th at 10:00 am at Palm Mortuary Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
