Concetta Marie Gaynor, age 67, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. If you ever met Concetta, you would not forget her. She was the life of the party, a dancing queen, and was never afraid to say what was on her mind. She loved fiercely and was an amazing Italian “chef”!
Concetta was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Huntington, Long Island. She was the daughter of Anthony and Phyllis Zambardi.
Concetta graduated from Walt Whitman High School and went on to a long career in the insurance/restoration business, at one time running her own business, Universal Restoration and Design. In 1987, she married Robert Gaynor and in 1995 they moved the family to Las Vegas, NV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Linda Azzara.
Concetta is survived by her husband Robert, her two sons, Ryan Mclaughlin and his wife Heather and Michael Gaynor and his wife Taryn, five grandchildren; Dominic McLaughlin, Joseph McLaughlin, Mia McLaughlin, Adelynn Gaynor and Cayleigh Gaynor, her sister Paula Depalo and her husband Vito, many nieces and nephews and her beloved collie, Harley.
A memorial service will be help on Thursday 2/17 at 11:00AM at Palm on Eastern, 7600 South Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her honor to Keeping Memory Alive, The Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada.
