Clare Johnson-Henderson

Clare Henderson, age 96, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday March 25, 2019. Clare was born March 16, 1923 in Easton, PA. Clare graduated from the Traphagen School of Fashion in New York and began a modeling career and later became a fashion buyer. She married Joseph Liguori, had two children and became PTA President of Washington Elementary School, and Vice President of the Democratic Club in Roselle, NJ. While living in NJ, she worked as the Secretary-Registrar of Vital Statistics.

Clare moved to San Jose, California and opened her own interior design business. In 1980 she moved to Las Vegas, NV where she worked for Ethan Allen as an interior designer and met and married Douglas Henderson.

Clare enjoyed.. cooking and baking, . she took great pride in…her home and family. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Pelletier, a son, Michael Liguori and three granddaughters, Jennifer Pelletier, Kristina Pelletier, Megan Liguori.

A memorial service for Clare will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a committal to follow all at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
