Clara Connie Mazzuca

Clara “Connie” Mazzuca, 94, of Lufkin, Texas died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 of natural causes. She was born April 23, 1927, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Lester and Rose Ogden. Connie was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 71 years where she was a retired restaurateur, and has spent the last 3 years living in East Texas with her granddaughter and grandson-in-law and 7 of her great grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her, two daughters and son-in-laws, Rosemarie and Scott Mahoney and Ramona and Don Gifford, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; eight grandchildren and spouses, Connimarie Smith, Antoinette Mahoney, Michael and Star Mahoney, Lyric Mahoney, Melissa and Jeremy Branske, Scott and Robin Blackham, Nicholas and Tiffany Blackham, Maranda and Nicholas Meador, and 16 great-grandchildren. Dominic, Rebecca, Rachel, Spencer, Mackenzie, Maddison, Samuel, Jenna, Macy, Hayden, Ethan, Pierce, Max, Sophie, Jameson, and Jackson.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Anthony John Mazzuca of 70 years; her parents and her 4 brothers.

Connie was a fun and witty woman who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Connie will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Tropicana Ward, 2275 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

A funeral service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2275 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. A committal service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123
