Dr. Christopher L. Krall went home to meet Jesus on May 5th, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with metastatic bladder cancer. Chris passed away at his home in Las Vegas, NV surrounded by family.
Chris was born June 7th, 1961 in Defiance, Ohio. After graduating from Defiance High School in 1979, Chris went on to become an emergency medicine doctor, obtaining his B.A., cum laude, Biology at The University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio and obtained his M.D. at The Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. His postdoctoral training included Transitional Residency in Toledo, Ohio and he completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.
Chris held various teaching, consulting and clinical appointments throughout his career and took great pride in consistently providing care to every patient he had the privilege to care for. Chris was also dedicated to serving as Medical/Rescue Team Physician or Chief Physician at the APBA Gold Cup Unlimited Hydroplane Racing, Great Lakes Offshore Powerboat Racing Association, and the Michigan International Speedway.
Chris was most passionate when boating on the Great Lakes and Lake Mead with friends and family.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and David Branson, James Krall, and his nephew, Logan Krall.
Chris is survived and will be missed by his siblings Joe (Sheryl) Krall, Judy James, Steve (Theresa) Krall, Jeff (Lori) Krall, Brent (Kelly) Branson and Susan (Isaac) Villa, parent Barbara Krall, stepsister Michelle (Shane) Spittler, 12 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful care provided to Chris by his UCLA and LV medical teams, and his hospice care through Charter Healthcare of Las Vegas.
A celebration of life will be held in Las Vegas at The Crossing Windmill on Saturday July 29th, 10:30am Guest reception, followed by 11am Service. 7950 W Windmill Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89113
A celebration of life will also be held in Sylvania, Ohio on Sunday August 20th, 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Nederhouser Community Hall located in Olander Park. 6930 W. Sylvania Ave, Sylvania OH 43560
